Health informatics is the inter-section of information science, computer science, and health care. This field deals with the resources, devices, and methods required to optimize the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of information in health and biomedicine. The programme is intended to provide the students with a solid foundation and current best practices of the health informatics for successful delivery of patient care. This programme also provides comprehensive coverage of fundamental concepts, tools and skill sets to contribute to the application of e-health and health informatics for optimal healthcare delivery.

Eligibility
Graduates in any discipline are eligible for our Post Graduate Diploma and Professional Certification Programmes. For Advance Diploma programmes you need to have at least 1 year of work experience.
Programme Duration: 12 months for the Post Graduate Diploma and 6 months for the Advance Diploma.

Examination & Certification
NxtGen follows a credit system based on all learning activities involved in studying for all PG Diploma, Advance Diploma and Diploma Programmes. Each of your modules is equal to 4 credits. To successfully complete the programme, you will have to earn all the credits assigned to your programme.
All the participants are obliged to timely submit completed assessment assignments (during the programme, usually after every module) and appear for an online exam at the end of the programme.
After successful completion, the participants will be awarded Post Graduate Diploma/Advance Diploma in Health Informatics by Nxtgen Edu centre in the field Health Management and Research. For all the above-mentioned modules, Online Classes (Online mode) or face-to-face classes (Regular & Online modes), elaborate programme material, self-assessment assignments would be provided by the NxtGen Edu Centre.
